Sten Erik Kramer, M.D.

Sten Erik Kramer, MD is a native of Orange County. He was educated at Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor of Science
in Biological Sciences, and at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine for his medical degree.
Dr. Kramer then traveled to Washington, DC for a year of internal medicine training at Georgetown University Medical Center
followed by a residency training program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at National Rehabilitation Hospital, also in
Washington, DC, which is affiliated with George Washington University and National Institutes of Health located in Bethesda, Maryland. |

Dr. Kramer is a Fellow in the Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is board-certified by the American Board of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kramer is board-certified in the subspecialty of Pain Medicine, being one of the first 500 physicians in
the nation to obtain this credential. He is also board-certified in the subspecialty of Sports Medicine, in which he obtained the 69th
certificate awarded in the nation.
Dr. Kramer is a member in good standing of the Medical Board of California, Medical Staff of Hoag Hospital, North American Spine Society,
International Spine Intervention Society, American Back Society, American College of Sports Medicine, American Board of Pain Medicine,
American Academy of Pain Medicine, North American Neuromodulation Society, International Neuromodulation Society, California Society of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Physiatric Association of
Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehabilitation, and the Orange County Medical Association.
Dr. Kramer has extensive experience working with amateur and professional athletes. He has been onsite at numerous international venues
working as a member of the Official Medical Team for the Association of Professional Surfers World Championship Tour. He has been onsite
at many tournaments working as a member of the Official Medical Team for the Association of Volleyball Professionals. As an avid cyclist,
surfer, and skier himself, Dr. Kramer understands the competitive needs of an athlete.
